I support the war on terror, because I support my country, I am proud to be an American, I support the war, because I support our leader, the president, I support the war, because I support each troop and veteran, that has and hasn't gone to war, that is dead and living, that are navy or marines, army and others!

I support the war because I love my country!

"Well the news says...", who the heck cares what the news says, they are only giving the info out, that the majority of there viewers want to hear, for popularity sake! If they start telling people all the great news on the War On Terror, or why you should support the war, there ratings fall! You might say "well because the majority of the country doesn’t support the war!", not true...the supporters have either stopped watching the channel just for that reason, or just completely ignore them and watch the other annulments on the particular news channel. This is a perfect example of people, usually businesses or politicians not wanting to let down there public! Its another politicians war!

We can not back out, don't you think that's what theses Terrorist want? Don't you think that there sitting back in lawn chairs watching our news channels and listening to our radio channels, cracking up about how we, such a great, brilliant country are doing more fighting here, amongst our selves than we are doing any where else in the world! We aren't in this war to win, let me re fraise that, many aren't in this war to win! They are afraid of the bad publicity and lose of there popularity. Un-like President Bush, who is under so much pressure right now, one little mistake, plane human error, or most of the time, misinformation, makes him look like the bad guy! Did he destroy our twin towers? NO, look east people past Washington, a few thousand miles away, that's our problem!

Many presidents like Abraham Lincoln also came across the same pressure, I recently visited Illinois and stopped by the state capital Lincoln museum. You wouldn't believe how hard that man had it! Between losing his children, the war put a huge burden on him! The whole country, North & South where against him, his own advisors where against him! They told him "back down, retreat, give up, SURENDER"....Did he, NO! He stayed by his country, stood strong, like an American!  Another great president, Richard Nixon, YES I know about the Water Gate scandal, but take that away for a second, completely forget about Water Gate. Ok now look at the big picture, he was a great president, great with foreign affairs, and tried really hard to get our troops out of Nam with pride! If you bring Water Gate back into the picture...why would a president, do illegal things, and be so insane about such a small deal? Because he cared, he though he was the best man for one of the most powerful positions in our country, and he thought he needed to be in that position, so he did what he did, I am not saying it is right, BUT you need to look at the other perspective!  You should do this "other mans shoes" thing for everything you do, or think about!

I love quotes and one of my favorite people to quote is George S. Patton, here are a few words from one of the worlds best military commanders...."Better to fight for something than live for nothing" meaning that its better to fight and work hard and to stand up for what you believe in, as others in our country did before us, than to not fight, and leave with tails between our legs, and shame on our backs! I would rather this generation and the next and maybe the next take care of this problem NOW! Because if we don't, like with any problem, it will just expand, we will have to go back, sooner or later, and we will just have to start over!
